Participants in a new program at Element Care are adopting virtual pets. These “byte-size” critters provide a sense of companionship and remind their “owners” to take medications or exercise. They also keep an eye out for distress.

The goal of Element Care’s PACE Olympics is to promote wellness and a healthy, active lifestyle for older adults so they can live in their homes and communities, safely and comfortably, for as long as they can, keeping their stays in hospitals and nursing homes as minimal as possible.
June 15, 2017 – Element Care Featured on Bridge Cape Ann As part of Older American’s Month, Element Care celebrated PACE Participant’s Appreciation Day at all our centers during May. These special events were held to thank and recognize each participant for setting such a shining example of how to age well by continuing to live independently at home and within the community. The celebration included a thank you from Bob Wakefield (CEO of Element Care) who also presented participants with a “Partner in Excellence” certificate and a mug as a token of appreciation for their role in building Element Care into the 7th largest PACE organization in the country. A special video was recorded at the Emerson PACE Center by Kory Curcuru from “The Bridge CapeAnn” Blog (https://www.bridgecapeann.com/) and was posted on their Facebook page which has over 12,000 followers.
